Matthew Constantino
Matt Constantino has 20 years of private equity experience.
Mr. Constantino was most recently the Managing Partner and Head of the Americas business for Vision Capital. At Vision, he led/sourced multiple investments in the Chemicals, Packaging, Industrials, Consumer and Services sectors, and held several board seats.
Previously, Mr. Constantino spent seven years with Apollo Management, where he was initially a member of the firm’s flagship fund focusing on large buyout transactions, with a particular focus on the Chemicals industry. He was promoted to Partner and named Head of Private Investments for Apollo’s primary distressed/special situations fund, where he focused on lower and middle-market private equity, special situations and public debt and equity investing.
Mr. Constantino was also at ZS Fund (lower-market private equity) and at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in Mergers & Acquisitions. He has an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University. Mr. Constantino currently represents Delos on the Board of Directors of ICP, SourceHOV, FCA, MBHE, Bellwether, United Flea Markets, and FirstOnSite.
Sanjay Sanghoee
Sanjay Sanghoee has almost 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Mr. Sanghoee is responsible for managing the day-to-day business, strategic direction, fundraising, and all aspects of Delos’ operations, including fund administration, tax and accounting, legal, human resources, and other mission-critical functions.
He is a regular speaker/panelist on private equity topics at events including SuperReturn, PartnerConnect, Emerging Managers Conference, PEI COOs and COO’s Forum, YJP New York, and is a member of ACG.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. Sanghoee worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions groups at Lazard Freres and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, and at Ramius Cowen, a multi-billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund.
Mr. Sanghoee has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Computer Science from the Columbia School of Engineering.
Robert Scaramella
Rob Scaramella has 18 years of private equity and investment banking experience.
Mr. Scaramella was most recently a Founder and General Partner of The Hudson+East Partnership, a private investment firm primarily representing the interests of a Forbes 400 family office. During this period, Mr. Scaramella made and managed nine portfolio investments and numerous ancillary transactions spanning lower and middle market private equity, special situations, structured debt and equity financings, and real estate.
Prior to founding Hudson+East, Mr. Scaramella was Managing Director of Ingleside Advisors, the Registered Investment Advisor of a New York-based single-family office, with responsibility for direct private equity investments. Previously, Mr. Scaramella was a Principal at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm, in both Los Angeles and New York, where he focused primarily on middle and large cap buyouts in the consumer, retail, industrial, logistics, and hospitality industries.
Before beginning his investment career, Mr. Scaramella was an investment banker in the M&A division of UBS Investment Bank in New York. He started his career advising emerging growth companies on M&A and capital raising in Boston. Mr. Scaramella holds a BA from Amherst College. He currently represents Delos on the Board of Directors of United Flea Markets and US Fitness.
Michael Rakiter
Michael Rakiter has more than 13 years of private equity, investment banking, and consulting experience.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. Rakiter was a member of Rothschild’s Restructuring Group, where he advised debtors, creditors, and private equity sponsors on a variety of restructuring and M&A transactions. Previously, Mr. Rakiter worked at Cerberus Capital Management, where he focused on middle and large market private equity, distressed, and special situation opportunities, with a focus on manufacturing, business services, and consumer sectors.
Mr. Rakiter also worked at Syncora Guarantee, a bond insurer, where he focused on restructuring of distressed structured bonds and capital planning. He started his career in the Restructuring Group of Rothschild. Mr. Rakiter has a BBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and graduated with honors.
Mr. Rakiter currently represents Delos on the Board of Directors of United Flea Markets, Sage Metals and Edgard Construction Materials.
Willard DeBruyn
Will DeBruyn has more than 10 years of middle-market private equity and investment banking experience.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. DeBruyn was with the private equity affiliate of Alvarez & Marsal, A&M Capital Partners, working on special situations middle-market transactions, primarily in the industrial and business services sectors. Before joining A&M Capital, he was with Monomoy Capital Partners, working on middle-market special situations opportunities in the heavy industrial, automotive, and consumer sectors.
Mr. DeBruyn started his career in the investment banking division of Lazard and received a dual degree in Finance and Economics from DePaul University, graduating with honors. He currently represents Delos on the Board of Directors of FCA Packaging, Global Restoration Holdings, HOP Energy, and previously served on the Board of Directors of FirstOnSite Restoration Limited.
Michael Ambrosio
Mike Ambrosio joined the firm in January 2017 and is responsible for supporting the operations and finance functions at Delos.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. Ambrosio worked at Ernst and Young with eight years of experience in the financial services industry serving asset management clients. Industry exposure includes domestic and offshore hedge funds, private equity funds, and fund-of funds that report under U.S. GAAP.
Mr. Ambrosio is a Certified Public Accountant and received a BS in Accounting from Fairfield University.
Joe Safdeye
Joe Safdeye has more than 5 years of middle-market private equity and investment banking experience.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. Safdeye was a member of Stifel’s Healthcare Investment Banking Group, where he helped advise biotechnology, medical technology and healthcare services companies on M&A transactions, equity offerings and other financial advisory services. He also held internship positions in asset management and credit risk at UBS and Shanghai Commercial Bank, respectively.
Mr. Safdeye received a dual degree in Finance and Management from NYU Stern School of Business, graduating with honors. He currently represents Delos on the Board of Directors of HOP Energy.
Jordan Mondshine
Jordan Mondshine joined the firm in December 2019.
Prior to joining Delos, Mr. Mondshine was a member of Cowen’s Industrials Investment Banking Group, where he advised aerospace, defense, transportation, and specialty metals companies on M&A transactions, debt and equity offerings and other financial advisory services. He also held internship positions at the World Bank Group and JetBlue Airways.
Mr. Mondshine has an MSF from the USC Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics from the George Washington University, graduating with honors.
Maria Orsini Messer
Maria has more than 15 years of experience within the private equity, investment, and insurance verticals working in support of C/MP-level executives.
Prior to joining Delos, Maria worked at Lindsay Goldberg, a generalist middle market investment firm focused on long term partnerships with family owned businesses and entrepreneurial management teams. Her previous experience also includes Willis Towers Watson, a global advisory, broking and solutions company, where she worked in support of the CEO of Willis Global Solutions, Celtic Pharmaceuticals, a private equity firm focused on the pharmaceutical industry, where she worked in support of the Managing General Partner, and Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, an independent investment management firm, where she supported the President & CEO.
Maria holds a BS in Corporate Communications from Southern Connecticut State University and a MFA from The New School in New York, NY.
Laura Lee
Prior to joining Delos, Laura worked at Russell Reynolds Associates in the Investment Banking Division. Her previous experience includes Martha Stewart Living in the Editorial, Art, and Photo Departments. Prior to that, she worked at both Taconic Capital and Bear Stearns on their equity trading desks.
Laura holds a BA in Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, an Associates degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, and a degree in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America
